GRAB!!!!

Yesterday, we intended to go to the supermarts in Ulleval Station to have a look and get some of the stuffs such as potato salad as it is cheaper there(ICA) during our previous visit. We went over to the supermart, REMA, first as we didn't go in before to have a look. After that, we went over to ICA, intended to get our potato salad. At the front door of ICA, we saw a poster saying " bla bla bla -40%".. As usual, we don't understand the language as it is in Norwegian... Haha! Without any EXCITMENT, we went in and get our potato salad... When we shop around for awhile at the frozen food corner, we was wondering why everyone was snatching and grabbing stuffs... Then, we notice the big sign"-40%" in front of us! We clarified with the sales in the supermart and got to know that, everything of Findus brand is going at a -40% off!
The next moment, 3 of us were grabbing and snatching the food we liked! We had a combined wallet to share the grocery money... Not as intended, we took another 300 NOK each to share the food that we gonna buy here in ICA! -.- Actually, we only intended to spend 100 NOK each per week on grocery, which we had already used it and got the stuffs the day before!
But, no choice... This kind of -40% off seldom comes! SALMON!!! ESPECIALLY SALMON!!! Oh gosh! I had never eaten fish since I first landed in NORWAY!!!! Most of the food of Findus is involving fish!!! YUMMY!!!
End up, we spent 680 NOK there! NOt AS EXPECTED! GOSH!!!
But, hope we will have happy weeks with fishes!!!

I miss my grandma...

Finally, I'm back from Sweden... As for those photos taken in Sweden, must wait.. Cuz, my camera spoilt.. All I depends on my friends.. So must wait to get from them... I went to Goteborg and Stockholm... Not a bad place to visit.. =)
Suddenly, I remembered the day when my grandma did facial... She was so eager and excited about doing facial... She tried very hard to get up the bed in the Beauty Salon and she was eagerly waiting for my ah yi to help her do facial... Days after doing facial, she kept on saying, her face become so smooth...! haha! I miss her badly....

I LOVE MY DAD!!!

hehe!! I love my dad alot!!!!!!! He very kanchiong when I'm here... haha!!! He did alot of things for me, and I felt so touched!!! haha!!! Love him!!! hehe!!!

Well.. Anyway, for the few days in Oslo, we had been searching for cheap food and finally we cooked it ourselves! haha! The day before, we had ramen... And for yesterday dinner, we had curry!!!! Wow!!! I missed my dad's curry!!!!!

Travel, go market, everything without my papa... haha!!! Well... Consider a very good training programme? haha!!! Today, I'm leaving to Sweden! Wow! For 5 days!!! WIll be back on 17th Aug! haha!!! Wait for the photos! haha!!!

NORWAY!!! ExpenSive!!!

Finally got my internet connected.... Since I arrived in Tuesday, a series of unfortunate events happened on me... First of all, my luggage lost in transit... That really made me panick like idiotically mad! I thought I will never get to see my luggage ever again! The first thing I felt was, lost.... After that, I thought that the 2 long sleeves clothes I put in my hand carry could actually let me survive happily (at least...?) till I get my luggage back... But, Oslo is not as cold as I thought... It was as warm as Singapore... Which made me felt like a roasted wet pig (Cuz I sweat like mad!)!!!! When we got to the hostel, everything was consider quite (I guess so...) smooth... When got into the room, I was thinking, die... I am going to die of heat stroke in Oslo! The room has not fan at all for ventilation... And at the time when I got into the room, the sun was blasting directly into the window...!
After having a look at the room I got, me and my friends, Zhi Jian and Jie Ying, meet and went to IKEA... At first, we thought that the IKEA in Oslo will be cheaper than Singapore as Sweden is juz beside it... But, EVERYTHING WAS EX!!! EX!!! EX!!!!
I spent 637 NOK juz to get a table lamp, a pillow (smaller in size compared to Singapore's... It is square in size.. weird!), a very small bolster (cuz normal size one very ex... But, their normal size bolster is still shorter than Singapore's), a blanket, a set of bed sheet (cuz my luggage lost.. No choice.. -.-), a very translucent curtain, a very shallow bowl, plate, a pair of fork n spoon, a towel, a cup... I think that's all... haha!!
I had to carry all this on my shoulder, all the way from IKEA, which is not very near to my hostel, back to my hostel! I'm proud of myself! haha!
After putting our IKEA stuffs in the room, we went to the super mart located in the hostel compound, and bought some food... Well... You won't know how ex the food here is!
It is really true that Norway is considered as the highest living standard country in the world! Almost everything I can buy in Singapore, is 2X or more expensive than SG!!!
Who say Salmon is cheap in Norway?!?!?! BULL SHIT!!! THEY ARE EXPENSIVE!!!!
I CAN SAY, I HAD NEVER SEE ANYTHING CHEAP IN NORWAY UP TILL NOW!!!! Chocolates are expensive too... You name them, they have them, and they are ex... haha!!!
After that, came back to hostel room, can't use laptop and internet, cuz, they dun provide lan cable, which I felt is stupid, and they dun even sell it anywhere near the hostel.... And also, I don't have the travel adaptor for use in Norway... Their ones is super special... You can check online and see...
Well.. Above all the incident, happened in juz a day, which is TUESDAY 11am Oslo time( once I stepped here) till at night 10 plus pm... And, it was still bright! -.-"
As for Wed, we went to Oslo S (a train station) and get our travel concession done.. It cost 430NOK per month... EX!!! After that, we walked around to look for travel plug and also, lan cable.. Finally we found a electronics shop and got the lan cable.. Which is still, EX!!! As for the travel adaptor, the stupid shop assistant told us that we cannot get it in Norway unless travel to the Airport, which MIGHT have... And is EX to travel there... No choice... I approached one of my friends, who I know he will surely help me... And, he said OK to speed post over! Wow!!! Thanks so much!!! After that, we went to ICA, which is a supermart, and buy food again... haha!!!!!!!!!! I'm machiam ah soh in the Supermart, look for the cheapest, and wOw here n there! haha! machiam found gold, which I felt I really found gOld! haha!!! After that, same thing, big bag small bag came back to hostel again... I think becuz of all this carrying stuff exercise, my back kept aching... Hvn't recover till now... But at least, I felt abit homely..? haha!!
Too many things to say leh in order to update till what happened today, which is Thursday!! Ok... to shorten everything that happened on Thursday, the most important thing that happened today is, I FOUND MY TRAVEL ADAPTOR IN A MEGA ELECTRONICS SHOP IN A SHOPPING MALL NEAR OSLO S STATION!!!!! THAT'S WHY I CAN BLOG NOW!!! HAHA!! AND ALSO, ONLINE!! YEHYEH!!!! THANKS TO ZHIJIAN WHO NOTICED THAT THE SHOP DID SELL IT!!! AND ONCE AGAIN, THANKS TO DELSON!!! oh ya!!!!
ONE MORE THING THAT SHOCKED ME TODAY!!!!
To enter the public toilet here in Oslo, it need about SGD 1 plus...
